THE GOLF TEE ANNOUNCES WINNERS
OF
"TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS 2003"
2003 Tournament of Champions September 13. Organized by teaching
professional Roger Sawyer, the tournament provided
one last chance for his summer junior golf campers
to compete in several skill areas.
Receiving trophies and applause from the gallery were:
Putting Tournament:
5 to 8 year olds Henry Buholtz
9 to 12 year olds Joshua Seward
13 to 17 year olds Tim Geier
Chipping Tournament:
5 to 8 year olds Kevin Hill
9 to 12 year olds Kyle DeClerck
13 to 17 year olds Steve Pagan
Long Drive Tournament:
5 to 8 year olds Ben Biando
9 to 12 year olds Shane Crissey
13 to 17 year olds Steve Pagan
The "Happy Gilmore" Long Drive Competition was won by Kyle DeClerck in the 9 to 12 age group and Steve Pagan among 13 to 17 year olds.
Steven Rossi won the golf bag full of golf balls by correctly guessing that 222 balls filled the bag.
