WEBSTER's MIKE CATALLO
WINS NOT ME, NOT NOW
MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT

Eleven young mini golfers competed in the final round of the Not Me, Not Now Great Mini Golf Tournament September 18 at The Golf Tee in Webster. Mike Catallo, 15, of Webster won the grand prize of a $250 Wilmorite Mall shopping spree, with a score of 46 on the par 57 course.

The prize was presented by John Riley, representing the County of Monroe's Not Me, Not Now program to reduce teen pregnancies, and Carson of radio station 98PXY.

Second place went to Mark Wentworth of Webster with 47. Eric Alvito of Macedon took third place with 49. Also competing in the final round were Pittsford resident Michael Burdekin, Brian Mooney of Penfield, Connor Quinn of Brighton, Ben Mears and Tony Proietti of Macedon and Webster residents Joe Catallo, John Marchioli and Christina Smith.

Mike Catallo is a 10th grader at R.L. Thomas High School. In addition to his academic and golf pursuits, he holds a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. In the Great Mini Golf Tournament, he competed with scores of other golfers ages 9 to 19 in elimination rounds on five Tuesday evenings this summer. The weekly winners in three age groups met September 18 for the final round and a chance to win the grand prize provided by Not Me, Not Now.

The tournament was co-sponsored by the County of Monroe, 98PXY and The Golf Tee Family Fun-tastic.
